Duwamish River Photo Tour
on a Classic Yacht

Dramatic colors and reflections of light play in the deep shadows of this industrialized waterway in the cool morning air. Surprisingly unique opportunities for cleaver, odd, estranged and disproportionate imagery abound as you drift by the enormous barges, ships, docks and factories along the shores of the Duwamish River.

This is a tour for photographers and artists who are inspired by the workings of industry. Pack your camera and join us on a classic yacht as we cruise up the Duwamish River in search of unusual imagery. Capture rust encrusted textures and bold graphic shapes as they cast their reflections on the ripples of the waterway.

This 90 minute tour departs from our moorage at Harbor Island. We will head up river past many industrial sites and maritime operations passing under draw bridges and cranes. Reaching the community of South Park, we will pass by Boeing's famous B-17 plant hat helped win World War II and turn around at Delta Marine where some of the biggest and most expensive private yachts are built in the world.

Upon return down river, we will cruise out to the port docks and past the container terminal and Todd Shipyard on Harbor Island for an amazing view of downtown Seattle across Elliot Bay.
