How to Pack for a Classic Boating Picnic Cruise
While we offer a range of meal options on our classic yacht cruises, we find that many of our guests enjoy bringing their own picnic meals. We provide the perfect setting for and old-fashioned picnic cruise.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, cheese plates or home-made fixings to enjoy. Things that work out best on boats are foods that can be transported easily like sandwiches and salads, hors d'oeuvres and cakes. On hot days, bring plenty of ice to keep things chilled in a cooler. On cool days, insulated totes will keep things warm. (We have a small stove on our boats that can be used to keep things warm too).
Preparing a picnic meal for your party is easy and a fun way to have the perfect food for your voyage. We keep a stock of picnic supplies on the boats including paper napkins, plates, cups and utensils. Call us anytime if you have questions about your meal plans onboard our boats.
